Young Library Web Page Scavenger Hunt
Is finding things on the new web page taking up a lot of your time? Try getting some practice by completing this scavenger hunt. You can stop by the library for the answers!

Young Library sponsors an annual Summer Reading Program from May 1st to September 1st each year.  All incoming Freshmen, current KCU Students, Faculty, and Staff may participate.

There are many benefits to reading. It is fun, it gives you something to do, and this summer you can earn the opportunity to have your name in a drawing for a $25 Amazon gift certificates.

The more you read, the faster you read. This is beneficial to all of our students. It will help you complete reading assignments in less time in the Fall semester.

We encourage you to read over the instructions and the process for this opportunity.

Hope you have a great summer and we look forward to seeing you in the fall!

Summer reading Instructions 2019

In April of 2014, Young Library received a summer reading literacy grant from Dollar General.

KCU’s Young Library’s focus was to conduct a program for the local Hispanic community to encourage English, Spanish, and computer literacy to entire families. The program was conducted once a week for 4 weeks from July 11 – August 1.

Dollar General funds were used to enhance the library’s book collection by adding Spanish reading materials for a variety of ages.

Check out the slide show below to see more about our program.

Christ-Centered Vision

“The Christ-centered vision of KCU both connected me with people whose influence has shaped me to thisday and gave me a foundation in ministry-effectiveness for which I am extremely thankful.”
