KCU Worship Collective Director Mike Cochran Scores Film “The Good Fight”

Kentucky Christian University’s Worship Collective Director, Mike Cochran, has made his mark in the film industry with his exceptional musical talent. Cochran recently composed the score for the highly anticipated film, “The Good Fight,” which is set to premiere this weekend in Huntington and Teays Valley, West Virginia.

“The Good Fight” showcases the immense talent of Appalachian creatives. Filmed entirely in West Virginia and Kentucky, the movie features a predominantly local cast and crew, further highlighting the rich artistic community of the region.

Cochran’s involvement in the film extends beyond his composition skills. His band, Render the Hearts, is also prominently featured in “The Good Fight” with a couple of their band’s songs.

Expressing his gratitude for the opportunity, Cochran stated, “I was privileged to be able to compose the score for ‘The Good Fight.’ I know and have worked closely with several of the actors and crew on many different occasions. I feel truly honored to have played a small part in bringing this film to life. It is a HUGE step for AppalachianĀ artists, musicians, actors, and filmmakers.”
