Meet Northeast Christian Church:

Northeast Christian Church is a community passionate about outreach, worship, and community. Our ministries have grown along with the community since we began in 1977.

We empower the people within our church to love their neighbors. Our partnerships with local schools, nonprofits, and small businesses provide countless opportunities for our community to carry the love of Jesus outside the walls of the church to make a tangible impact in our city.

Through serving the city and beyond, our Love the ‘Ville movement began in 2014 when 1,800 people from Northeast Louisville took our Sunday church services to the streets of Clifton, helping the neighbors and local businesses. This movement is now fueled by our annual; Christmas Eve offering with three specific focuses: loving our city, schools, and the world. This generosity has grown from $280,000 in 2014 to $1.7 million in 2022.

Our Sunday services are laid back, so come as you are, and grab a cup of coffee on the way in! We have a time of worship with music, take communion together, collect a weekly offering, and hear a message designed to inspire and challenge each person toward growth in their relationship with Jesus.

About the Outreach Team Lead:

The Outreach Team Lead oversees all outreach ministries and partnerships locally and globally at Northeast Christian Church. This role requires an energetic, organized, outward-focused, and strategic-minded leader who can cast vision and execute strategic goals for the Love the ‘Ville Movement. The role requires focus and competency in the following areas: team leadership, stewardship development, and mobilization of volunteers.

The Outreach Team Lead’s Responsibilities Include: 

• Faithfully model Jesus Christ at Northeast and in the community.
• Evaluate and implement the vision and mission of the Love the ‘Ville outreach ministry under the oversight of the Northeast Elders and Leadership Team.
• Oversee the outreach ministry, including the complex budget, outreach events, mission trips, and partnerships.
• Lead the Outreach Team to develop and implement the strategy for local, schools, and global outreach, including but not limited to the following: ministry partnerships, and Northeast mobilization.
• Ready to lead, plan, and implement local outreach events, including collections for crisis/disaster relief.
• Ready to identify, develop, and steward local, school, and global partnerships.
• Work with the communications department to ensure clear and effective communication regarding local, school, and global outreach.
• Accomplish all other duties as assigned, including Sunday morning responsibilities.

What it’s Like to Live in Louisville, KY: 

Louisville is a diverse, growing community with a small-town feel. It is centrally located providing its residents with easy access to major cities like Indianapolis, IN, and Nashville, TN. UPS Worldport headquarters is in the city and is the company’s largest hub. Louisville is one of the few cities that has all five major performing art groups: ballet, Broadway, opera, orchestra & children’s theater.

Boxing great Muhammad Ali is a Louisville native.  The city is home to the cultural center named after him.   Louisville is also known as a “foodie” city.  Its dining scene showcases both international fare and upscale cuisine. The First Christian Church of Buffalo, Missouri is currently seeking a Full-Time Minister. We are located in the heart of the Ozarks and a short drive from many area lakes, rivers, Bennett Spring State Park, and the city of Springfield, Missouri. • The Student/Children’s Minister will oversee the discipleship process for the spiritual development of children/students in grades K-12 of Driftwood Christian Church.
• Conduct appropriate training events for volunteers, parents, and children that meet the overall mission, vision, and values of this Church and the Children’s and Student Ministry.

• Will develop and direct a team of effective teachers, while serving as a member of that teaching team as gifted.
• Will lead and/or direct the Youth Church held during the overall worship service.
• Teach, at times, Middle and High School Sunday School classes

• Assist the Education Committee in recruiting teachers and leaders, designing and coordinating the training/equipping of teachers and leaders, overseeing the curriculum chosen, and acting as a resource for teachers and leaders.
• Provide encouragement, feedback/coaching, and direction for leaders as needed.
• Manage communication to children, students, parents, teachers and leaders via bulletins, newsletters, advertisements, posters, other means of communication available.
• Maintain list of approved volunteers.
• Provide safe environment with security systems in place for our children and our children’s ministry volunteers and leaders.

Lyndon Christian Church is seeking a bivocational worship minister. Most of the responsibilities are on Sunday morning, so they would not interfere with another job.

The Children’s Ministry Director is a part-time position responsible for ensuring that the ministry to children from birth through 5th grade and their parents aligns with the beliefs, values, and strategy of Central Christian Church which is part of the Christian Church Restoration Movement. The Director will be able to mobilize volunteers to provide a safe, caring environment where kids experience the love of Jesus. We have an opportunity for someone seeking to do bi-vocational service. This part-time position will be 10-15 hours per week with availability to lead our Junior/Senior High group which currently meets Sunday evenings.

We are a restoration movement church located in Manteno, IL about 50 miles South of Chicago. We currently have an established program that is being led by loving volunteers. We seek a stable, Christ focused leader who is sound in the scriptures, has a heart for youth, and the ability to communicate age appropriate lessons.

Responsibilities include preparing and leading weekly meetings, additional service/community outreach events, Bible studies and participating in life events with our youth. A Bible College degree and prior experience are preferred.

The Welcome Associate in partnership with Welcome & Involvement Minister and the Welcome Team will help lead all aspects of the welcome world of FCC-JC including Parking, Greeters, Connections, Safety, Ushers, Hospitality, Welcome Desk, and Weekday Welcome. The position is 20-25 hours.

Role responsibilities include the following:

• Ensure smooth operations of welcome structures and systems on the campus
• Follow-up with guests to FCC-JC
• Connect guests to First Things First and other connection opportunities
• Work with coaches and leaders on system improvements in various Welcome areas
• Develop serving area org charts and recruit team members
• Oversee the leadership pipeline process for their respective area
• Oversee and shepherd high-level Welcome volunteer leaders
• Recruit, train, and develop teams of volunteers throughout Welcome ministry
• Care for staff and maintain a healthy working environment through appropriate supervision and coaching
• Attend staff meetings, retreats, and trainings as requested; some of which may require overnight travel.

In search of a person to lead and organize a program for children and youth. Emphasis on children. Church has large group of children below 3rd grade and need to upgrade Jr. Worship, and youth programs.  Position would include working with parents and church leadership to lead the children’s program in to the future. Youth and Family Minister
Woodlawn Christian Church is a family of believers serving Christ together in the growing south Knoxville community in beautiful Knoxville, Tennessee. Our desire is to connect people to Jesus, helping them transform into vibrant mature followers. To assist with the church’s goal to reach and disciple the next generation, we’re looking for a Youth and Family Minister to lead the Youth Ministry (grades 6-12), support and supervise the Children’s Ministry (birth-grade 5), and coordinate family related events and activities to reach children/youth/families from the community.

• Support our partnership with the Emerald Youth Foundation by helping recruit church members to volunteer in our Just Lead after school program and integrating, as possible, students and their families into the life of the church and youth ministry.
• Provide pastoral care for youth and their families.
• Carry out ministry duties consistent with being on staff at Woodlawn (staff meetings, office hours, work as a team, promote a unified vision, preach as necessary, etc.)

Qualifications:
• Demonstrated relationship with Jesus that displays a life of faith in Jesus, professional maturity, high character, and the Fruit of the Spirit.
• Bachelor’s Degree from a Christian University/Bible College, or equivalent preferred.
• A degree in Youth and/or Children’s Ministry is preferred.
• 3 years minimum of vocational Youth/Children/Family Ministry experience.
• Proven ability to create and implement a ministry vision and strategy.
• Excellent leadership skills with proven ability to organize volunteers, programs and events.
• Strong communication skills with students and parents/guardians.
• Proven experience with (or willing to learn) social media skills and strategies.
• Strong desire and ability to collaborate on a team and delegate responsibilities.

Note: This is a full-time position with a minimum 40 hour work week. Compensation will be determined based on experience (includes $6,000 health insurance benefit).

The primary role of the Worship Technical Director (WTD) is to be responsible for all technical aspects of the service pertaining to audio, video, lighting, and stage design, as well as overseeing leadership and development of volunteer teams. Doing all of this to allow participants in worship to focus on the Lord in an unhindered manner.

Freedom Christian Church is a Stone-Campbell church located in rural south central Kentucky that has been active since 1896, with an average attendance of 100 people. Position Description

Full-time Youth Minister minister who has a heart for the next generation, stands firm on Biblical teaching /preaching, and leads with attention to God’s direction. This position will over both the Kids and Student Ministries departments. The pay for this position will be comprehensive and negotiable depending upon experience/qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree minimum in church leadership and/or Biblical teaching/preaching

Duties of Youth Minister

1. The Youth Minister will serve under the guidance of the elders and the Minister in preforming the duties of Preaching/ Teaching the Youth, Visiting, Organizing Functions, and helping the congregation carry out the Great Commission.
2. The Youth Minister will work with the various departments of: Sunday School, Youth Group, Vacation Bible School, Christmas Programs, Easter Programs, Youth Sundays, Christian Service Camps, and any program that will be beneficial for the growth of the Church.
3. Develop, Train, Equip, and Enlist volunteers in various youth ministry tasks.

The Sciotoville Christian Church is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter for the position of senior minister.  We are a congregation of 75 in a county of a population of 74,000 which provides a great opportunity for winning the lost.  We are located in downtown Sciotoville, Ohio, a small town on the east side of Portsmouth, Ohio on the Ohio river.
