Malachi McDaniel Academic Resource Center

Our goal at Kentucky Christian University is for our students to grow in Christ and help you succeed. We know that students’ success often depends on having a supportive environment. The Malachi McDaniel Academic Resource Center is just the place to obtain that support. Here are a few of the free services we have available for our students.

The Malachi McDaniel Academic Resource Center has drop-in tutoring in most subject areas that are taught at KCU. The ARC, which is housed in the Young Library, supports a computer lab, various study skills and handouts. We have tutors available throughout the day that are trained and willing to help with your classes. We have Praxis prep help through either small group, or individual assistance. Contact the ARC as soon as you feel like you’re having difficulty with a class. Don’t wait until it is too late. If you are frustrated, or simply confused, stop by and get clarification.

If you feel confident but just want a little extra help studying for an exam, feedback on a paper, or have a math problem that has got you baffled, we can help. Or, feel free to stop by and just study. Remember, we are here for you!

You can work with the same tutor each time or see a different one depending on your schedule. Tutoring sessions are free and you don’t need an appointment—just stop in.

If you have any questions, contact library@kcu.edu, director of the Malachi McDaniel Academic Resource Center at library@kcu.edu.

Investment of Time, Prayer, and Love

“I’ll never forget how the Bible and Ministry professors at KCU cared about me as a person. They didn’t just see me
as a student number. They invested time, prayer, and love into my life and my ministry, and I’m eternally thankful
for their influence.”

Sean Plank, Class of 2010
