KCU ASCEND · ONLINE BIBLE & MINISTRY
Prepare the next generation of ministry leaders right where they serve.
A church-based ministry residency paired with Kentucky Christian University’s online Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Ministry. Students study online, grow under local mentorship, and put their calling into practice in the life of the church.
CHRIST
CHARACTER
CALLING
A DEGREE ROOTED IN LOCAL MINISTRY
Online learning. Real ministry.
One calling.
Students should not have to step away from their church to prepare for ministry. This model connects academic study with guided, hands-on service in a congregation that knows them.
KCU and participating churches can work together to shape a meaningful ministry experience. A conversation with our team will help determine the right fit, expectations, and next steps for your church and student.
THE PATHWAY
Study. Serve. Grow.
01
Study online
Students pursue KCU’s online Bible and Ministry bachelor’s program while staying connected to their community.
02
Serve locally
The church provides a place to practice ministry and learn alongside experienced leaders.
03
Grow together
Mentorship and practical service help students connect biblical learning to their calling.
Residency arrangements are developed with each church; submitting a form does not establish a placement or guarantee admission.
FOR CHURCH LEADERS
Your church can help raise the leaders it needs.
Whether you already have a young leader in mind or want to explore hosting a future resident, tell us about your church. We’ll start with a conversation about ministry opportunities, mentorship, and fit.
