Public invited to celebrate the release of Song of Life in Ashland
GRAYSON, Ky. — Dr. Brittany Bryant, Assistant Professor of English at Kentucky Christian University, will celebrate the publication of two of her poems in Song of Life: Poetry & Prose from the 2026 Jesse Stuart Writers Workshop during a public book launch and signing on Sunday, October 18.
Hosted by the Jesse Stuart Foundation, the celebration will take place from 2–4 p.m. at the Delta Marriott Hotel in Ashland, Kentucky. Bryant will join fellow contributors to meet readers and sign copies of the collection. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
Published by the Jesse Stuart Foundation, Song of Life brings together poetry and prose from the 2026 Jesse Stuart Writers Workshop. Bryant’s contributions connect her creative work as a poet with the region’s literary community.
The publication adds to a year of professional accomplishments for Bryant, who holds an MFA and completed her Doctor of Education degree this summer. At KCU, she serves students as a member of the English faculty while continuing her own writing and scholarship.
KCU students, alumni, faculty, staff and community members are invited to attend the celebration and support Bryant and the collection’s other contributing writers.
