Position Title:         Worship Minister

Category:                 Full-Time Salaried Minister

Direct Report:         Lead Minister

Location:                  Cynthiana, KY

Salary:                      Compensation Based on Experience

 

Ministry Responsibilities

-Be the primary point person for leading and stewarding the Worship Ministry

-Collaborate with Lead Minister when planning worship services.

-Oversee any special Worship Ministry events such as Worship Nights, Choir, Holiday Specials, etc.

-Be knowledgeable of the Worship Ministry tools/practices already in place (Audio, Video, Streaming, ProPresenter, Planning Center Online, etc)

-Hold regular office hours.

-Be a fully engaged and tithing member of Indian Creek Christian Church.

-Serve or Volunteer regularly in a ministry outside of your oversight.

-Participate regularly in a Small Group or Bible Study for your own spiritual growth.

-Develop and operate within an annual Worship Ministry budget.

-Collaborate with other events or services outside of the Worship Ministry if needed.

Role Requirements

-Must align with and adhere to the Theological statements of the church as found on the ICCC website.

-Must have proven musical ability.

-Must be able to vocally match pitch and have a strong singing voice.

-Ability to play guitar or piano is highly valued but not required.

-A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (or working toward one) is valued but not required.
