Kentucky Christian University and the KCU School of Business and Leadership are proud to welcome USA Today best-selling author and Vice President of Consulting for Jon Gordon’s Positive Training Company, Amy P. Kelly, to campus for the 2026 Mission Minded Leadership Conference presented by the KCU School of Business and Leadership and Business Cultivation Foundation.
Amy’s work is grounded in a deep belief in people and in partnering with them to become the leaders they were created to be.
A global HR executive, Amy has designed award-winning workplaces and employment brands and advised leaders at organizations including McDonald’s, Walmart, GE, and Ingram. Her latest book Work IS Personal: How Authenticity Drives Performance and Culture reveals the counterintuitive truth: as machines handle more tasks, authentic human connection becomes the greatest tool for success. Amy has co-authored multiple books, including Difficult Conversations Don’t Have to Be Difficult and The Energy Bus Field Guide with Jon Gordon, as well as You Grow Girl!, The You Grow Girl Journal, and The Gift of Growth with Julie Nee. She is also the author of G.L.U.E.: A Leadership Development Guide to Bond and Unite.
Through customized culture transformation programs, workshops, and consulting engagements, Amy helps organizations align people, purpose, and performance by unlocking the personal nature of work.
While she is deeply committed to helping leaders and teams thrive, the work she loves most is life at home and in her community with her husband and four children.
