Northwest Christian Church

Located in Acworth, GA, Northwest Christian Church is searching for our next full-time Worship Pastor. Our church is a growing and diverse body of believers with an average in-person weekend attendance of around 400.

We are on a mission to make more and better disciples of Jesus across the street and around the world and we need a passionate disciple of Jesus to help us connect to Christ in worship. As the Worship Pastor, you would play a crucial role in influencing the musical direction of our church as well as overseeing the “site to the seat to the street” so that members and guests have a cohesive, creative and biblically centered worship experience each week. You would also create/oversee the development of compelling video content to help advance the church’s mission.

Some of the key qualities we are looking for in our next Worship Pastor are:

• A thriving and growing relationship with Jesus that shows up in a love for the Word, prayer and striving to live a life that honors Christ.
• A deep love for the Church and for all people that motivates you to pray for more people come to Christ and be His disciples.
• A verifiable track record of being able to take initiative and work independently without sitting around waiting for someone to tell you what to do.
• A dedicated team player who knows how to work well with others and desires to make a long term (3+ years) commitment to the Northwest family.
• Someone with a great sense of humor and a passion for really good coffee! (Okay…that coffee part is not really a thing, but coffee is really important to some of us!)

Previous full-time experience leading worship in a ministry of comparable size is desired but not required. Salary is competitive and commensurate with education and experience.
