Student Director

Position Description: We are an independent/non-denominational
Christian Church—small by midwest and megachurch standards, but medium
sized here in the “shrinking aging church” Northeast. We are
passionately committed to making lifelong disciples of Jesus who go
and impact their personal circles with His light. We are located in a
desirable northern suburb of Pittsburgh, PA and aim to be “a church
that makes our neighbors glad to have us in their backyard”—connecting
and engaging with our community is a high value here.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and driven candidate to
work with our 6-12th grade students. Our current student director will
be transitioning out by the end of this summer, and we are prepared to
bring someone onboard early summer for overlap if the situation
presents itself. We expect applying candidates to be passionate about
being a disciple of Jesus, to have strong communication and listening
skills, to work effectively within a team environment, and to have a
proven work ethic in any past work experience–ministry or otherwise.
Our church is skirted by many communities teeming with young
people–we are looking for someone who has the heart and drive to
engage with students in our adjacent neighborhoods.  Candidate would
work alongside a staff currently consisting of a lead pastor, office
manager, children’s director, and worship director. This is a full
time role working with a fun, creative and flexible team of staff that
enjoy working together!
