Position Description: Rise Christian Church is a rapidly growing
church in Newark, Ohio. The church has more than doubled in worship
attendance the last three years. We are in the middle of expanding
our facility to include a 650 seat worship center and all new
children’s classrooms (all debt free).
We are looking for an Executive Pastor to work with our Senior Pastor
and Elders to help us execute our vision as a church, especially in
the areas of staffing, systems, stewardship, and strategy. Candidates
for the Executive Pastor must meet the Biblical qualifications of an
Elder, have a heart for Jesus, His Church, and ministry, and we would
prefer this person have at least 5 years experience in leading a
church staff or comparable experience.
