KCU is proud to welcome Mark Lowry to campus as part of our second annual Gala on Saturday, November 8. The evening will feature dinner, guest speakers and an unforgettable mixture of laughter, music and inspiration.
Mark Lowry is a storyteller at heart — whether he’s singing a beloved hymn, cracking a perfectly timed joke, or delivering a message that pierces the soul. With a career spanning decades, Mark has become a beloved voice in gospel music, comedy, and Christian encouragement.
He first gained national acclaim as the co-writer of the modern Christmas classic “Mary, Did You Know?” — a song that continues to resonate around the world. As a longtime member of the Gaither Vocal Band, Mark’s voice and humor helped shape the sound of Southern Gospel for a new generation.
But Mark isn’t just a singer. He’s a communicator. A comedian. A chronic overthinker with a mic and a mission. Whether onstage or on his wildly unscripted “Just Whenever” podcast, Mark brings warmth, wit, and spiritual wisdom — often all in the same breath.
Wherever he goes, Mark is still doing what he’s always done: helping people laugh a little louder, think a little deeper, and trust a little more in the grace of God.
Tickets will be available here on August 1.
