Christ Chapel is a non-denominational church focused on loving God, loving people, and making disciples through doing life together. We are a simple church made up of ordinary people who simply want to honor God and continue growing closer to Him.

We currently have around 400 people attending our Sunday morning worship services and are blessed to worship in a beautiful church building that is now just over two years old.

Our church is located in the small town of Fort Recovery, a rural farming community of about 1,800 people. It is a town filled with strong family roots, local traditions, and genuine relationships — the kind of place where people still wave to each other as they drive by. That sense of community is something we deeply value and reflects the heart of our church as well.

Christ Chapel is a growing church with a passion for sharing Jesus and excitement for the next chapter God has for us. We are currently seeking a full-time Lead Pastor who demonstrates strong character, integrity, organization, leadership, vision, and mission-mindedness. Above all else, we desire someone with a deep, authentic, and intimate relationship with the Lord.

Throughout a typical week, we have active men’s, women’s, youth, young adult, and discipleship groups meeting regularly.

Our staff includes two additional full-time ministers serving in worship and discipleship ministries, along with four part-time staff members serving in administration, children’s ministry, facilities, and internships.

If you are interested in learning more or having a conversation with us, we would love to connect with you. Please contact our Lead Team at leadteam@christchapelfr.com

Prepared to Go Make Disciples

“Thank you Dr. Brickey for pouring so much time, love, and effort into my education to make sure that I became a nurse that is prepared to go make disciples for Christ. I will forever be grateful to you and the Yancey School of Nursing.”
