About the Opportunity
Delaware Christian Church (DCC) is offering a paid Worship Pastor
Internship for a college student in their final semesters or a recent
graduate who is passionate about leading worship and growing in
full-time ministry. This hands-on experience will provide mentorship,
real leadership opportunities, and active participation in a healthy
church environment.
The internship has the potential to develop into a full-time Worship
Pastor position based on your work ethic, growth, and alignment with
DCC’s culture and mission.

What We’re Looking For
• A committed follower of Jesus Christ, growing in character and calling.
• A student or graduate from a Christian university, ideally pursuing
ministry or worship leadership.
• Musically skilled with experience leading worship in church, chapel,
or campus ministry settings.
• General working knowledge of the audio-visual and technical aspects
of worship production (projection, lighting, audio, live stream).
• Humble, teachable, and motivated to grow both spiritually and practically.
• A self-starter who thrives in team environments and loves serving
the local church.

Internship Scope
Worship Ministry Specific
• Assist in planning and leading Sunday morning worship services,
youth worship, and other special events.
• Lead or co-lead music in services with coaching from other worship
ministry staff and Senior Minister.
• Help recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers (vocalists, band,
audio/visual tech).
• Participate in rehearsals and Sunday production.
• Support creative elements such as media, visuals, and stage design.
• Learn to manage worship technology (sound board, ProPresenter,
livestream equipment).
• Musical development of current worship team members, potential team
members, and youth (teaching lessons, mentoring, etc.).
• Personal development through worship ministry conferences and other
ministry training.
Practical Ministry Development
• Join staff meetings and planning sessions to understand how ministry
works behind the scenes.
• Receive regular mentorship from DCC pastoral staff.
• Have opportunities to assist with youth ministry or other ministries
based on gifting.
• Have opportunities to assist in planning sermon series and Bible studies.
• Be involved in outreach events, seasonal programs, and pastoral care
opportunities.

Internship Details
• Paid internship: Part-time (15–25 hours/week) or Full-time (32-40
hours/week) based on availability and church needs.
• Term: 4–9 months, flexible around your academic schedule.
• Start Date: As soon as available.
• Location: On-site at Delaware Christian Church in Delaware, Ohio.
• Possibility for full-time hire upon completion of internship, based
on ministry needs and candidate fit.
