Position Description: Xperience Church is a non-denominational
growing, vibrant, Spirit-filled church located in Defiance, Ohio.
Defiance is situated less than a three hour drive from the major
cities of Indianapolis, IN, Detroit, MI, Cincinnati, OH, and Columbus,
OH and as a church, they are living out Kingdom ministry to reach
their region with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Led by lead pastors Kyle
and Justeina Brownlee who planted the church 12 years ago through the
ARC network, the church continues to grow and now welcomes 1,500
people for weekend worship services at 9AM and 11AM. A Sunday at
Xperience Church can be described as dynamic and warmly relational in
both the main worship services, and within the exciting kids ministry
wing. The church desires to reach young families in Defiance and the
surrounding area through Kids ministry marked by fun, the Word of God
and prayer. Nursery, Preschool and Elementary environments are offered
at the two Sunday service times. The core ministries of the church
partner together through the year to welcome the community through
events such as 21 Days of Prayer, National Serve Day and Mall Fall
Fest. The new Kids Director will serve in collaboration with the
broader team to impact and serve the community.

Xperience is seeking to hire a Kids Director to lead current Kids
ministry staff, and provide ministry direction for the over 225 kids
who regularly attend. The right candidate will be excited for this big
responsibility and live eager to serve along-site the staff team that
operates as a family. They will have a rich heart not only for kids,
but live out a dynamic passion for developing and empowering
volunteers. The ideal candidate will be relational, flexible, display
a fun loving attitude and will align with the church’s overall mission
and vision.

Below are the qualifications and responsibilities Froot Group and the
church have identified for this role:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead, develop, manage, & pastor the Xperience Church Kids Staff,
Leaders, & Volunteers
Recruit & train new kids leaders and volunteers
Coordinate and collaborate with Xperience Staff to ensure creative
efforts align with overall church vision
Oversee all aspects of Xperience Church Kids, including services,
curriculums, special events, & outreaches
Communicate effectively to parents through CCB
Utilize tools (CCB, Monday.com, etc.) to communicate and keep the
team informed on events going on and team responsibilities.
Oversee the systems, processes, and structures of Xperience Kids Department
Stewardship of the Kids Department Budget
Coordinate with Director of Ministry for vision & support
Establish, monitor, & evaluate metrics for the Kids Department
Establish and execute annual goals for the Kids Department
Direct all hiring & firing for Kids Department staff roles

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Education

Bachelors degree preferred, not required

Experience

Minimum of 3 years experience in kids ministry
