CenterPointe is a vibrant, growing, multicultural church on Florida’s space coast. The Children’s and Family Pastor will be part of the ministry team that helps carry our the vision to inspire people to Experience His life, Engage His truth and Express His love. The Children and Family Pastor will lead, plan, execute, and oversee
the ministry to children from birth through 5th grade. Centerpointe is an active church with three Sunday morning services and an active midweek program for children. We have also been able to partner with
several area schools holding assemblies utilizing material from Orange. We would love to see a growing vision for these ministries and outreach opportunities.

This person must be a committed follower of Christ and exemplify Christ-like character with the ability to teach, model, and oversee ministry to children, parents, and leaders. This person must support and model the Mission and Values of CenterPointe Church.

This position will require the ability to cast vision and provide strategic methods for developing ministry teams and equipping volunteers. As this position oversees numerous ages and programs, the ability to identify high capacity leaders and delegate responsibilities is essential. This position will be part of the staff team and therefore included in weekly staff meetings to help communicate and execute strategy with staff and volunteers.

Budget preparation and strategic planning are as well as other managerial type responsibilities are skills necessary to succeed. Time management and a healthy work/life balance are encouraged. Other expectations/responsibilities can be discussed.

Education, Experience and Skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Seminary degree (MDiv or Christian Education), a plus
Prefer 3 years prior children’s ministry experience or proven abilities with excellent references
Experience in recruiting and equipping volunteers and working with teams
