Centennial Capital Campaign

What began in 1919 as a Christian teacher training institute (CNI) is today a comprehensive, accredited Christian university that offers Christ-centered baccalaureate degrees through seven schools: the Keeran School of Bible & Ministry; School of Business; School of Biological Sciences; School of Distance & General Education; Keeran School of Education; School of Social Work and Behavioral Health; and the Yancey School of Nursing. KCU also offers three distinct graduate programs in New Testament, Christian Leadership, Religion, Education,  and Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner.

Kentucky Christian University has been blessed over these past 100 years because of the generosity of partners like you. Our first president, Dr. J. W. Lusby once said “I have often watched the mail for offerings when there was no meal in the barrel. More than once help has come when delay would have been detrimental…I am standing on His promises, but looking to His children as we prepare young people to preach the gospel.” As in the past, our future is dependent upon a growing number of God’s people eagerly, faithfully supporting the educational ministry of KCU with their financial resources.

By sharing financially in the Ministry of Kentucky Christian University you are demonstrating your support for Christian higher education and helping to secure the mission of KCU for the next one hundred years!

Student Scholarships

Endowed Named Scholarships – Endowed Named Scholarships are permanently restricted scholarships which are specially named and disbursed according to a donor’s wishes. They may be established for gifts of $10,000 or more and provide scholarships through interest generated annually on the principal balance. A gift to a scholarship fund at KCU is permanent; that is, the University invests the gift and uses only earnings in awarding scholarships. Who would you wish to memorialize through a perpetual scholarship?

General Scholarship Endowment – Scholarship contributions in amounts less than $10,000 go into the General Scholarship Endowment, assets from which are managed and distributed by the finance office of KCU.
