    Tucker Christian Church is an established, diverse congregation located in an inner suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.  We are seeking a new Lead/Senior Minister.

    Hazelwood Christian Church is looking to hire a Youth and Young adult minister to help reach the community for Jesus Christ.  HCC is in rural Hendricks County on the west side of Indianapolis and is a vital congregation of approximately 500 people who desire to reach the youth in Hendricks, Morgan, & Putnam counties. This full-time position works alongside three additional HCC’s staff members, administrative assistants, and many volunteers.  We are looking for someone with experience, if possible, and who has a desire to train volunteers, parents, and students to be disciples who make disciples. HCC’s Youth Minister would develop and implement a spiritual formation plan for students to ground them in the word of God, give them opportunities to exercise their faith, and help them increase their trust in Jesus as they learn to walk with him.

    Family Life Minister at Pleasant Grove Church of Christ

    Summary and Objective

    Pleasant Grove Church of Christ, located approximately an hour north of Columbus, Ohio, is looking to hire a Family Life Minister to work with our church family.  This ministry position will provide leadership, vision, and programming to youth in grades 6-12.

    Emphasis will be placed on working with current youth groups and developing educational programs to serve youth and families.  A successful candidate must be able to pass a thorough background check and references will be required.  Candidates must also be an immersed, baptized Christian and comfortable becoming a member of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ.

    Our parsonage may be available in the fall.  A housing allowance may be taken if a candidate already has a home.  Full-time salary will be $35,000.  Part-time salary is negotiable.  Unfortunately, health insurance and retirement benefits are not available.

    Essential Responsibilities

    Building a team of leaders to minister to families inside and outside of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ.

    Be an effective witness in our community through attendance at community activities and involvement in local school districts to support our youth.

    Keep regular office hours and be available to help students and families with spiritual and/or personal needs.

    Teaching God’s Word from a Gospel-centered focus during Sunday School and youth group meetings.

    Collaborate closely with the Senior Minister and Steering Committee for oversight.

    A Bible College ministry degree with a preference from a “Restoration Movement” college or University, or a degree in Education.

    • Help educate the congregation in Biblical stewardship from the pulpit and other means/venues.
    • Promote congregational benevolence and mission work.

    Outreach

    • Encourage the congregation to reach out to the unreached, unchurched, inactive members, neighbors, and new residents in our area.
    • Help welcome new members as they learn how to join the life of the congregation.
    • Encourage the congregation to support our missionaries and to step out in faith to take on new missionaries or become missionaries. (Matthew 28:19-20).

    Bookkeeper

    Principle function: Under the direction of the Finance Director, the Bookkeeper is responsible for keeping financial records up-to-date and organized to provide a clear and accurate picture of IDES’ financial position.

    Responsibilities:
    1) Process Donations
    Receive all organizational donations
    Record donations in donor recording software and prepare receipts for mail
    Deposit donations through Remote Deposit
    Update Daily Worksheets
    2) Process Accounts Payable
    Process all invoices in a timely manner
    Prepare Operations and Projects checks for signature
    Ensure accurate accounting of IDES’ financial activity
    3) Prepare Organizational Financial Reports
    Prepare weekly financial report for Directors
    Prepare monthly financial reports, including expenses to budget comparison
    Perform monthly bank reconciliations
    Assist in preparation of federal and state forms
    Assist in preparation of records for annual audit and budget
    4) Additional Responsibilities
    Attend special events with or on behalf of IDES when necessary
    Assist/back up Administrative Assistants with basic responsibilities when necessary Any other duties that help drive IDES’ Vision, fulfill IDES’ Mission, and operate by IDES’ Values

    Knowledge, Skills or Experience Required:
    -Previous Bookkeeping experience (3 years preferred) or Accounting degree required
    -Microsoft Suite (Proficiency in Excel required)
    -QuickBooks proficiency preferred
    -Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    -Attention to detail
    -Organized

    Student Pastor Position

    Southside Christian Church is a thriving and growing congregation located in beautiful Central Kentucky. Our surrounding community is a great place to raise a family, offering: solid schools, friendly neighbors, shopping/restaurants, outdoor attractions and a rich history. We are seeking a full-time student  pastor whose primary ministry focus will be students in 6th-12th grades. Although it is not required, it would be beneficial if candidates had the ability to lead worship. We currently have a talented team of student ministry volunteers who love being together & serving our students. We are seeking someone who will shepherd our existing students with the love of Christ and promote growth (spiritual & numerical). This is a full-time salary position with benefits & 401K.

    The Student Pastor will be a catalyst in our #LoveLikeJesus mission. Christ’s love REACHES, EQUIPS & SENDS. The Student Pastor will strive to REACH students who are apart from Christ, EQUIP them to follow Jesus & SEND them into our community as disciple-makers.

    The tasks for this position will include (but are not limited to):

    • Leading Wednesday evening student ministry 
    • Lead student trips (CIY, Tennessee Christian Teen Convention, mission trips)
    • Develop a discipleship process for students
    • Team Leader of student ministry team of adult volunteers
    • Enhance Southside’s online presence (website & social media)
    • Pastoral care for student families & student ministry volunteers
    • Be active in schools (sports, clubs, etc)
    • Provide fun outreaches & events to engage students
    • Oversee student ministry budget
    • Be a relational team player on our staff team
