The Fairview Christian Church is looking to hire a part-time children’s ministry director.  This individual will work in cooperation with the leadership, senior minister, and associate minister of youth to encourage spiritual growth in our church family and especially with the fifth grade and below age group.  The individual would create activities and develop programs for fifth grade and below that will promote fun, fellowship, and spiritual development.  We are looking for a person who has a passion for children, and who wants to pour into their lives by teaching them God’s word, supporting their everyday lives, and by connecting with them in relationships.

Some things we are looking for:

• Committed to the scriptures.
• Beliefs that align with the beliefs of the Fairview Christian Church.
• Capable and willing to work with children fifth grade and below.
• Would report to associate minster of youth and senior minister.
• Able to recruit, oversee, and supervise volunteers to participate in teaching, events, service projects, etc.
• Plan and lead events such as CIY SuperStart, VBS, weeks at church camp, and other ministry and fellowship related events.
• Willingness to visit and take part in the lives of our children, both in times of need, and also during their growth and development of everyday life.

First Christian Church, located in Titusville FL is seeking a Sr. Minister to fill an open position.  The selected candidate will lead a growing congregation of 200+ members and have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a college associated with the Christian Churches/Independent Churches of Christ. A MDIV is preferred.

The Children’s Minister has the responsibility to ensure that the ministry to birth through 5th grade children and their parents aligns with the beliefs, values and strategy of Central Christian Church. They will possess the ability to mobilize volunteers to provide a safe, caring environment where kids experience the love of Jesus. Candidate will also oversee a paid Children’s Assistant and paid nursery staff. Full-time is preferred, but we are open to Part-time in the right situation. Alpha is seeking mission-minded Christian, married couples to work on our beautiful, rural campus as parents to children in need who live in our residences.  Each married couple becomes residential parents in one of our homes to children in need of a safe place to call home.  We also have an on-site, private, Christian school that the children attend, as well as plenty of ranch acreage that allows the children to participate in raising farm animals for the 4-H programs that they participate in.

The House Parent is responsible for the care and training of children placed in the home, including nurturing the children’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs through instruction, example, and appropriate activities. This position is responsible for all of the tasks relating to personal care, housing, meals, study and recreational activities of children in a Christian residential care setting.

Position: Director of Children’s Education

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

The Glen Este Church of Christ, a restoration movement church is seeking candidates for the position of Director of Children’s Education.

Requirements:

Christian man or woman who will work with and teach elementary aged children in our congregation.

Conduct Sunday morning Jr church services, Sunday evening children’s services, Wednesday evening bible study for children and hold regular fellowship activities for elementary aged children.

Candidate will have the ability to lead music portion of Sunday morning and evening services.

Develop and teach lessons in accordance to scripture and biblical principles that align with Church of Christ’s beliefs.

Interact with parents and congregation as needed; this may include calls, visits, interaction before or after services etc.

Candidate should make efforts to regularly attend an adult worship service and/or bible study when not leading children’s services in order to develop their own growth spiritually.

Work under and follow the guidance of the eldership of the church.

Candidates will lead, recruit, train, and develop volunteers for the children’s
ministry.

Youth Minister:

This is a full-time position, and the responsibilities for the candidate are to oversee the youth program.  The person will assemble volunteers and parents as disciple makers to work with the whole ministerial team to develop a way for kids to grow spiritually.  We are looking for someone to lead our program on Sundays and throughout the week.

Southland Christian Church is looking for 2024-2025 Residents!

The purpose of Southland’s Residency Program is to prepare leaders for local church ministry. 

It’s aimed at college graduates of any kind who feel a call to ministry, but need leadership training and practical hands-on experience. Residents move to Lexington, KY for one year (housing is provided), and commit to 25 hours a week (with pay) where we help equip them in servant leadership, calling clarification, and ministry preparation. They engage in cohort-style learning with other residents, as well as individual ministry specification and skill training of their choice. At the end of the year, we help connect and guide them through next steps, hopefully into local church ministry!

Our program helps shape leaders who become:

• Deeply rooted in their identity in Christ.
• Self-aware and character-driven.
• Well trained in pastoral care and ministry skills.

• Field Work Term (Fall/Winter/Spring): 
  • Transition from cohort style learning to ministry team placement.
  • Start field work in specific area of ministry and develop giftings and responsibility.
  • Continued core content study and practical ministry training.
  • Work in ministry area with increased leadership and responsibility.
  • Phasing toward graduating the program, with personal support for job placement.
  • Finalizing core content study needs.

The Pastor of Worship and Youth Responsibilities at HCC include:

Worship

• Work closely with the Senior Pastor in preparation of weekly worship services.
• Be willing to work as a team with staff and volunteers.
• Lead Sunday’s worship experience
• Plan, rehearse & implement all musical, vocal & technical facets of the worship service.
• Plan all worship elements for special events.
• Oversee auditions of new instrumentalists, vocalists & audio-visual ministry volunteers
• Recruit, organize, and train multiple people to share in the responsibility of the worship experience.
• Oversee, manage, and staff all areas of excellent audio-visual ministry, including volunteer training.
• Diligently nurture personal relationships within the worship and church media community through personal encouragement, training, fellowship, small group participation, and phone calls.
• Plan and manage an annual ministry budget.
• Supervise future worship and church media support staff.
• Oversee other tasks as assigned.

Youth

• Primary teaching role to middle and high school students.
• Continued education and professional development through books, conferences, and classes.
• Cooperate with other staff and directors to ensure the pastoral care of the congregation.
• Recruit, train, and motivate teams of leaders to implement ministry strategy for middle and high school students.
• Project and manage an annual ministry budget.
• Build relationships and regularly communicate with parents of students.
• Be available to meet with students and parents to address specific needs and concerns as they arise and as opportunity allows.
• Aid students in connecting with the larger ministry of the church.
• Network with other area youth pastors.
