Welcome to the Yancey School of Nursing

The Yancey School of Nursing is located on the beautiful campus of Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Kentucky. The school is in a newly constructed facility located on the second floor of Kings Daughters Medical Center Medical Specialties Outreach. This facility was completed in summer of 2008 and was made possible due to a gift from the family of Robert and Nina Yancey. The School of Nursing adopted the name Yancey School of Nursing in appreciation to the family for their gracious gift.

Professional nurses are in high demand. The career outlook is excellent for the nursing field. The nursing profession offers security in an ever-changing economy. However, we maintain that one must enter the profession of nursing for the right reason… to care for others.

Our nursing program is committed to the ministry of nursing. We follow the example established by Jesus Christ and hope to care for others in the same manner as our Savior. Nursing provides a wonderful opportunity for ministry. Our goal is to develop Christian nurses who are dedicated to excellence.
