BSN Prelicensure Program

The Yancey School of Nursing offers the Kentucky Christian University’s newest degree program. Like the University, which places an emphasis on preparing Christian leaders for positions throughout the world, the Yancey School of Nursing is committed to educating and equipping students as liberal arts educated nurses in a Christ-centered academic environment, with the values, core competencies, and core knowledge necessary to provide leadership and service in a 21st century health care system.
The Yancey School of Nursing has a selective admission policy which is separate, and in addition to, the University’s admission process. Admission to KCU does not guarantee admission to the Yancey School of Nursing. Enrollment in this program is limited and admission is awarded on a space available basis to qualified applicants. Students must take a minimum of 122 credit hours in order to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from KCU.
For additional information or questions concerning the Yancey School of Nursing, you may contact us at 606-474-3255 or nursing@kcu.edu.
