2011-2012 Student of the Year Deborah Jones

Congratulations to two of our 2011-2012 student teachers who have received the Student Teacher of the Year award. Deborah Jones and Taylor Draper were selected by teacher education students, who are already admitted to the program, and by the faculty members of the Keeran School of Education. The selection is made considering the following criteria:
· Exhibiting excellence in Christian character
· Exhibiting a positive attitude toward teaching as a profession
· Showing potential for motivating students and encouraging creativity in the classroom
· Having the potential to become an outstanding teacher

We are proud of the effort these students have made in making a difference in the lives of the students they have taught and will teach in the future.
