Music Business

The Bachelor of Science in Music Business is offered by Kentucky Christian University in order to prepare students to work in the music business industry. Students enrolled in this program take 28 hours of music specialization classes, 21 hours of business specialization classes, 16 hours of music business specialization classes at the Contemporary Music Center, 30 hours in Bible, and 39 hours in general education/core classes.

Total credit hours: 133

All students seeking a degree in music business must audition and be accepted to begin his/her study in the School of Music.

This degree is recommended for students wishing to pursue graduate studies in music, business, or music business.

Music Performance

The Bachelor of Science in Music Performance (emphasis in voice or piano) is offered by Kentucky Christian University to develop the highest musical potential in the student and to equip him/her for study at the graduate level. Students enrolled in this program take 34 hours in music specialization classes, 29 hours in music core classes, 30 hours of Bible, and 39 hours of general education/core classes.

Total credit hours: 132

All students seeking a degree in music performance must audition and be accepted to begin his/her study in the School of Music.

This degree is recommended for students wishing to pursue graduate studies in music performance.

Worship

The Bachelor of Arts in Worship prepares students for ministry in music ñ contemporary and traditional. Students are exposed to music ministry issues, equipped to work with praise bands, praise teams, and contemporary worship choirs, and gain experience in songwriting/arranging, audio technology, and multi-media. Attention is given to contemporary and traditional worship design through classes in 20 hours in music major core, 52 hours in worship specialization, 30 hours of Bible, and 30 hours in general education/core classes.

Total credit hours: 135

Graduates will have the skills necessary for relevant ministry in an ever-shifting contemporary culture.
