After being raised near Sacramento, California, I attended colleges in Texas, Indiana and Ohio. After working for eight years in Sacramento as a part-time music minister and piano technician, I came to Kentucky to teach music at KCU.
I am married, with three grown children. I have special interests in piano technology, historical pianos, and improvisation. I perform regularly, giving solo recitals annually and accompanying faculty and students here at KCU.
