Duties includes supervising and evaluating the faculty of the Counseling Psychology Program as well as the Social Work Program. Represent faculty concerns to KCU's administration. Settle faculty/student disputes. Oversee budget planning and implementation for both programs.

Responsible for program curriculum development and implementation. Full-Professor since 1998. Oversee and implement program budget. Created and coordinate the Social Work Advisory Council for Kentucky Christian University. Coordinate CSWE (Council on Social Work Education) accreditation efforts. Coordinate student admission process. Recruitment responsibilities include: talking with prospective students and advertising the Social Work Program at various festivals for youth. Teach social work courses. Supervise full-time faculty, part-time faculty, and support staff. Serve as faculty sponsor for Laos Protos. Committee assignments include: Academic Council (1994-present), Affirmative Action Committee (1995-present), Curriculum Review Committee (2000), Library Resource Committee (1997-2001), Appeals Committee (1992-1995).

Eating Disorder Program Director, River Park Hospital, Huntington, WV. October 1989 - July 1990.
Developed and supervised the opening of an eating disorder program including marketing the program. While developing this program, additional responsibilities included providing psychosocial assessments, individual and group counseling with inpatients in the Chemical Dependency unit.
Eating Disorder Program Director, CPC Meadow Wood Hospital, Baton Rouge, LA. June 1989 - August 1989
Responsibilities included supervising therapists in direct patient care, conducted multidisciplinary treatment planning and discharge planning for inpatients and outpatients, scheduled staff, participated in a task force to assure treatment plans were in compliance with Medicare and JCAH standard. Responsible for managing the operation of the program. Duties also included handling referral calls and providing assessments for all hospital program, marketing the program through telephone and direct contact with referral sources, and providing community education on eating disorders.

Responsible for coordinating, implementing, and conducting inpatient and outpatient programs including problem eating support group and aftercare groups. Program consisted of response prevention meals, lectures, skills groups, nutritional counseling, body image group, and insight oriented group for both patients and family members. Participated in multidisciplinary treatment planning and discharge planning for inpatients and outpatients. Conducted assessments for the eating disorder program as well as general assessments for other hospital programs and made recommendations for appropriate treatment. Presented lectures for community education on eating disorders and made marketed the program.
Director of Outpatient Services, Behavioral Health Unit of Baton Rouge General Medical Center (COPE), Baton Rouge, LA. August 1986 - June 1987
Responsibilities included coordination and implementation of outpatient program for those patients with eating disorders. Program consisted of treatment planning, skills lectures, group, individual and family therapy. Participated in multidisciplinary team staffing for outpatients and inpatients. Participated in diabetes education program facilitating groups on dealing with emotional aspects of living with diabetes.

Provided therapy for children (preschool through adolescent) and their families using an eclectic approach. Case consultation with director and contract psychologist.
