KCU and Howell’s Mill Christian Assembly Strengthen Partnership

Kentucky Christian University (KCU) and Howell’s Mill Christian Assembly (HMCA) have taken steps to strengthen and breathe new life into a partnership that dates back to the 1950’s.
For about seven years in the early 1950’s KCU held summer Christian service camp on our campus. Following the establishing of HMCA and the move to their current camp location in Ona, WV, KCU continued its support of the camp by sending camp teams, faculty and staff who were involved with programs and events.
Through the years, and for no apparent, specific reason, KCU’s partnership with HMCA seemed to lose strength and purpose. In 2010 KCU President Dr. Jeff Metcalf and his administrative team took the initiative to work with HMCA to find ways to:
- Reignite our strategic partnership.
- More effectively support our respective ministries.
- Work together to better partner with local churches in developing tomorrow’s Christian leaders.
KCU is proud to be an active ministry partner with HMCA.
