June Bible Bowl Tournament

This competition will be held on the campus of Kentucky Christian University, June 6-8, 2013. Forty-eight teams can compete in round robin play on Thursday and Friday. There will be two divisions, an upper and lower division. The final decision will be made by the tournament director. All 48 teams will compete in a double elimination tournament on Saturday. There will also be an individual exam given on Thursday.

We are now taking registrations for this tournament. The time schedule will follow as in the past, with registration beginning on Thursday at 1:30 PM and running until 3:30 PM. The written exam and coaches meeting will start promptly at 3:30 PM.

Tournament Details

The text for the June tournament is the book of Acts. The first teams to submit their team registration form and $85 team registration fee (non refundable) will be registered for the June tournament.

Group Registration

There are two options to register your team.  You can print off the PDF file of the Team Registration Form and mail it in with your check or you can register your team online (there will be a $5.00 convenience fee for credit card processing).

Individual Registration

Individual registration fees for both players and sponsors ($60) and forms are due upon arrival. Forms can be downloaded here and copied for each participant in your group (forms are for players only).

Permission & Medical Forms


Once your team has been registered, please make sure the parents of each student fill out a Student Permission/Medical Release. Make sure your adult sponsors fill out a Sponsor/Adult Medical Release (don’t forget your own). Please have these forms filled out and organized upon arrival. Please note that you should have TWO copies of each medical release form. One is for your records and the other is to be turned in upon arrival.

Background Check Forms


Bible Bowl and KCU are committed to providing a safe environment for all students who participate in our summer programs. We now require each church to obtain background checks for every adult sponsor who attends the KCU Bible Bowl tournament. You can download the Background Check Data Sheet here. Those forms should outline the process, but don’t hesitate to contact us with questions you might have.

Registering After April 1st

We're happy to make accommodations for your team if you need to register after the April 1st deadline. However, there are some important things to note regarding your late registration as per the National Bible Bowl office:

Each team who registers late must provide a round of 17 toss-ups and 15 bonus questions to use for the round robin portion of the tournament. There will be an additional $50 fee for late registrants payable to National Bible Bowl. These questions must be written according to the guidelines as found on the Bible Bowl website under ABOUT/RULES/QUESTION WRITING RULES using the official question writing program. The phrase "THESE QUESTIONS WERE NOT PROVIDED BY NATIONAL BIBLE BOWL" must also appear on the front cover sheet of these rounds.
