School of Arts & Sciences
The mission of the School of Arts and Sciences is to develop articulate and well-informed disciples of Jesus Christ who can effectively apply concepts, principles, and skills from the arts and sciences to their personal and professional witness for Christ.
The program is designed to equip students for successful Christian leadership by developing skills in them which are fundamental to all areas of ministry and to all majors. Arts and Sciences is a cross-disciplinary department with faculty from several academic areas.
The School of Arts and Sciences defines the core curriculum which equips students with essential skills in critical thinking, writing, mathematics, and oral communication. The Arts and Sciences core provides a foundation of knowledge considered essential for any educated person.
Arts and Sciences also offers interested students degrees in History/PreLaw and in Humanities. Minors are also available in a number of fields, including Archaeology, Humanities, History, Mathematics, Near Eastern Studies, English, and Science.
Kentucky Christian University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA 30033-4097, Telephone 404-679-4501) to award Masters, Baccalaureate, and Associate degrees.
