KCU Student Housing
I’m glad that you have visited the Housing page of the KCU website!
My name is Kris Langstaff and I am the Housing Director at Kentucky Christian University. It is my responsibility to make sure that your dorm experience is a positive one. We have six residence halls on our campus and each one is unique. At this time, male dorms are Waters, Pifer, and Jones and female dorms are Dale, East, and West.
Waters Hall was renovated in 2009 and consists of three floors with 88 total rooms. The rooms in Waters are designed for 2 students. Each student enjoys a twin bed, 4 drawer dresser, closet, desk, and bookshelf.
Pifer Hall consists of two floors with 30 total rooms. Each student enjoys a twin extra-long mattress, two bolsters for added storage, a 4 drawer dresser, closet, desk, and bookshelf.
Our most nostalgic dorm, Jones Hall features 21 rooms. Equipped with bunk beds, Jones is now designated for one student per room. There are two closets in each room as well as two desks and bookshelves. Currently, Jones is reserved for our Men’s Soccer Team and they love it!
For our female students, Dale Hall features 57 rooms. Each student of Dale Hall enjoys a twin extra-long mattress, two bolsters for added storage, a 4 drawer dresser, closet, desk, and bookshelf.
East and West Halls are the newest dorms we have on campus and are “quad-style.” Each quad has 4 rooms and each student enjoys a twin bed with storage underneath, an armoire, desk and chair and a private bathroom, which is a big seller. East and West can accommodate 48 students each.
All of our dorm rooms (except for Jones Hall) are based on double occupancy. Each room is equipped with ample electrical outlets and can accommodate most of the comforts of home, minus mom’s fried chicken.
Please take a few moments and look at the pictures on this page. They will give you an idea of just some of the possibilities to arrange your room.
