Timeline For Admissions Process

April

  • After finishing the application process, the next important step will be sending us or completing your FAFSA. Once that is complete you will then receive an Award Letter that will let you know what federal, state, and institutional grants, loans, and scholarships you are eligible for.  When you receive this and have questions, feel free to call your admissions counselor with any question. Please return your award letter within two weeks of receiving it.
  • Sign up for a Pre-Registration* date.

(You will be required to come for a 2-3 hour orientation.  If you came to Day of Future Knights however, you do not have to Pre-Register. If you are looking to attend a session of summer school (More information will be available in the Spring), it is essential that you are Pre-Registered no later then July 7th and have the balance paid prior to July 2nd.  Talk to your enrollment counselor if interested and they can explain further.)

*Pre-Registration is important because this is when you will receive your:

  • class schedule (we will assign you classes based on your major and for transfer students, based on your college transcript(s)
  • sign different release forms

  • get your picture taken for your student ID

  • meet different staff members on campus

  • learn about the dorm rooms
  • discuss your bill
  • meet with the financial aid department

The earlier you sign up in the year the better!

May

It is at this point you should start turning in the next round of things:

  • housing form

  • housing deposit (deposit can be made online here)

  • health form
  • Sign up for a Pre-Registration date if you have not already

June

  • Complete your Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Entrance Counseling (has to be completed prior to coming for your Pre-Registration) This needs to be done by going to studentloans.gov

After you are Pre-Registered you will be set to go to come back on August 17th, times are to be announced.  This will be the day that you will come and finish registering for the fall, move in to the dorm**, and begin the weekend of orientation.

**If you are a fall athlete the only difference is that you will already be moved into your dorm room based on when your coach has required you to report.
